Two sign styles were created for the city: entry monument at city’s west entry on Foothill Boulevard, and standard park monument design. The design of these monument signs was intended to echo the city’s historic architectural styles, which have a heavy Craftsman influence. Rock cobble, a locally-available building material, is featured on many historic structures and is echoed on these signs.
