Water Re-use Projects

With water rates increasing each year, capturing and re-using storm water and graywater for irrigation is becoming more critical to controlling operations and maintenance costs. The projects featured here show a few strategies that can reduce potable water consumption for irrigation by 50% to 100%, and have a demonstrated return-on-investment of six to ten years. These proven technologies are feasible at every scale. In addition to the projects shown here, The Laughing Earth’s principal has designed water re-use systems for TXB Stores in Texas, as well as community-scale graywater capture in California.
