For this complete renovation of a Victorian home in the historic Highlands neighborhood, the owner wanted outdoor living spaces suitable for entertaining groups of 15-20 people. The color scheme of the house itself was to focus on mocha-colored brick with chocolate and black wrought iron accents. My design captures the best features of outdoor living in a series of rectilinear spaces, from soft lawn in the front, to transitional pavers woven with wooly thyme, to rear yard brick patio with BBQ structure, trellises and Rose Walk.
