A 40-acre retail complex that includes The Home Depot, Chili's, and other national and local retail stores. Work included landscape architecture (planting, paving patterns and pedestrian features, drip irrigation) for the entire perimeter of the complex, The Home Depot, and Target, plus developing an entry experience for the future 15-acre park at the north end of the development. The landscape theme of this cold-climate project focuses on foliage color - blue, purple, grey - accented by complementary seasonal flower colors. Brick and paving colors provide a degree of contrast for a year-round visual experience. Sustainable design principles were emphasized in the plant selection and irrigation design.
