An upscale shopping center is anchored by a Gelson's supermarket in the center. The design architect's concept for the buildings was to create a Mediterranean village. The intent for the landscape architecture reflected this same idea, with paving patterns and colors continuing the scheme of vivid ocher, sage green, and terra cotta colors. Plants, selected for character and color, included purple Mexican sage and vivid Lantana (in shades of red, orange, and yellow).
